Terms of Service
Last updated 6 November 2026 · Huddit is a product of Sable Invest (Pty) Ltd, East London, South Africa.
These terms are between you and Sable Invest (Pty) Ltd ("Sable", "we") for the use of Huddit at huddit.app ("Huddit"). By creating an account or using Huddit you agree to them. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must create the account for you and agrees to these terms on your behalf.
1. What Huddit does
Huddit turns study material a learner uploads (textbook pages, class notes, past papers) into a summary, a two-host audio episode, flashcards and quizzes, using artificial intelligence. It is a study aid. It can make mistakes, and it is not a substitute for the textbook, the teacher or the curriculum. Always check important facts against the original material.
2. Accounts
- A parent, guardian or adult learner creates the account. Child profiles sit under that account and use a username and PIN; children do not need an email address.
- Keep your password and PINs private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per family or learner. Sharing a paid plan outside the household it was bought for is not allowed.
3. Plans, payment and fair use
- The Free plan includes 2 study packs a month. Plus and Family plans include 15 packs a month per child, studio voices and diagrams. Current prices are at huddit.app/#pricing and include VAT at 15%.
- Paid plans renew automatically every month or year until you cancel. Payments are processed by Paystack; we never see or store your full card number.
- You can cancel any time from your account. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Our refund rule is in the Refund Policy: a full refund within 7 days of your first payment, no questions asked.
- Monthly pack limits are a fair-use measure that keeps the price low. We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next renewal.
4. The material you upload
- You may only upload material you are allowed to use for personal study: your own notes, pages from textbooks you or your school own, and publicly available past papers. Huddit uses it only to build your study packs, which are private to your account.
- You keep ownership of what you upload and of the packs built from it. You give Sable the limited right to process that material in order to run the service.
- We do not use your material to train AI models, and we do not share it with other users.
- If a rights holder asks us to remove material, we will, and we will tell you.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Huddit to upload material that is unlawful, harmful to children, or that you have no right to use; do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service; do not resell access.
6. Our service and liability
- We aim to keep Huddit available at all times but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI-generated content can be wrong.
- To the extent the law allows, Sable's total liability to you for any claim relating to Huddit is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.
7. Ending the service
You may delete your account at any time; your packs and progress are deleted with it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever stop offering Huddit we will give at least 60 days' notice and refund any unused part of a yearly plan.
8. Law and contact
South African law applies. Questions: [email protected] or Sable Invest (Pty) Ltd, East London, Eastern Cape.
